It is fascinating all the reasons underlying the women’s motivations to decide to have a photography session with me. Some have endured hardship and are proud to have overcome them, others have attained personal goals and others have accepted the challenged I offer them to show them that every women are photogenic.
In many ways, Lucie was not very different that my usual clients. However, she asked me if she could share this special moment with her daughter Maya, a request that I have accepted with a great pleasure.
Following our meetings, I discovered that Lucie is a very determined person and she knows what she wants.
She also confided in me that, in the recent years she had the opportunity to feel more like a women through dance and I had to capture this aspect of her personality.
Maya looks-like her mother a lot; she also knows what she wants and she wanted her passion for watermelons be immortalized. I understand her well, I also do adore the taste of watermelons. ;)
She is a beautiful, fun, sharp and full of life young woman.
She also has a lot of… no! A great deal of imagination and creativity!!!! She definitely thinks outside the box. She wanted me to create an infinity look for her.
It is Maya who had the great idea to place her mother’s hair this way; which helped creating a very sensual feel to this photograph.
Finally, this was a great opportunity to capture the incredible bond between a mother and her daughter.
