Saturday afternoon, we went to visit Aisha at the Specialita del Forno e della Tavola on Via Magliano Sabina to get something sweet for dessert.
We still don’t know what it was or called but it had an almond-based crust and some cherry (??) jam and supposedly some ricotta cheese somewhere. Anyhow, it was excellent.
They don’t have moist cake or dessert; it is mostly dry sorts of pies or cookies, or gelato. I didn’t really care at that point. It was sweet and dolce; so I was happy! ;)
