For the best sweets in Amsterdam: De Bakkersinkel (http://www.debakkerswinkel.nl/meeneemwinkel) We visited the one at Meeneemwinkel, such a cute place. Oh! And their caramel pecan pie is to die for… It had that little taste of “sucre à la crème” (sort of a fudge, but better!) – aaaaaaaah. The guy was so nice and he got us a little corner table to get warmed up before our walk in the Red Light District. I wish he hasn’t been so busy, I would have ask his name and told him how good his pie was and how it reminded me home…
I want to finish this series of posts on Amsterdam with my super cool husband. Some says he is silly, some others that he is geeky but for me he is simply adorable. It’s the Yan! (We might have been watching too many Top Gear episodes…)
